Alabama Talent Triad

The Alabama Talent Triad website connects job seekers, students, and employers by showcasing career opportunities across the state. The Talent Triad is based on documented credentials and not historic positions and time in grade. As an employer, you can match the skills/credentials you need to the applicants documented capabilities. Explore the system and join as an employer to attract the talent you need.

Workforce Training Resources

Jasper Industrial Development along with Jasper City leaders, organizations, county, and state networks collaborating to support the interconnectedness of work force training resources.

  • ​AIDT – Alabama’s premier no-cost training program for employers and trainees focused on new locations and significant expansion of qualifying industries.

    • AIDT Robotics Park – The Alabama Robotics Technology Park is a three-building, $71 million campus dedicated to advancing the robotics industry. Since 2009, it has expanded through multiple phases and added a Mobile Robotic Training Lab, giving K-12 students, teachers, and parents hands-on exposure to the latest technology​

  • Bevill State Community College – Division of Workforce Solutions is designed to be a flexible and responsive resource providing comprehensive non-credit workforce development training and education, as well as customized and targeted training to business and industry for continual employee development.

  • ACCS Innovation Center – It’s a statewide workforce development initiative that partners with colleges, businesses, and community groups to provide fast, non-credit training in high-demand industries.

  • Alabama Technology Network – is the NIST Manufacturing Extension Program (MEP) center for Alabama. MEP centers provide manufacturers with access to resources they need to succeed by working with them to develop new products and customers, expand and diversify markets, adopt new technology, and enhance value within supply chains.

    • Alabama Productivity Center (APC) – The University of Alabama’s APC is the home to Region 3 of the Alabama Technology Network (ATN), the Manufacturing Extension Partnership program of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for the state of Alabama

    • Auburn Technical Assistance Center (ATAC) – An affiliate of ATN, ATAC provides business process, continuous improvement, and technical assistance to manufacturers and businesses, not-for-profit organizations and government agencies in Alabama and the Southeast. The center is a recognized leader in the areas of lean manufacturing, lean healthcare, Six Sigma, and business growth.

Workforce Development Incentive Programs

  • ​​Alabama’s outstanding workforce development incentives the AIDT recruitment, screening and training program for new and expanding businesses.  This free-service to industry has a more than 50-year track record of success across a wide breadth of industries.  The depth of knowledge and experience is unparalleled.

  • Alabama Technology Network offers upskilling programs for incumbent workers that are supported by the Alabama Works! Incumbent Worker Training Program of the WIOA Act.

  • The Alabama Works! On the Job Training Program of the WIOA Act reimburses companies that hire and train program qualified individuals.

  • The Alabama Works! Work-Based Learning Program is a youth-oriented program (16-24 years old) designed to subsidize the costs of companies that are willing to engage in developing and improving work-readiness skills of today’s youth through a structured on-site training program.

  • The Alabama Office of Apprenticeship will assist companies in establishing Register Apprenticeship Programs that will allow a company to receive a tax credit of up to $1,250 per apprentice.
